Where did you get this information? I just watched that film a few hours ago and don't remember much about gelfing culture being in there.

Seems to have come from http://eowyn.nu/kira/ , which states that it was mostly sourced from one "Dark Childe's" website, which itself no longer appears to exist. It may be the creation of a fan. The "General" section at the bottom of this version (the first version which greatly expanded the over-all length and added all of the possibly non-canonical info) seems to support the hypothesis that it is indeed fan-created material, from a Star Trek crossover fanfic.

I have added a modified "Unsourced" template to the top of this article to alert readers to this. It may not be the best template to use, and I may change it to a different one if I find one that seems to better fit the situation, but it's better than nothing. --Icarus 05:19, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, this is all quite creative. Most of it should probably be removed unless a reference can be found. BTW, I've used the Internet Archive to track down the "Darke Childe" website[1], but I can't seem to access the pages. The Jade Knight 06:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Update: I've managed to access the February 5, 2002 version, but there's no mention of Gelflings there. I expect this was added later, and is almost certainly a fan-creation. The Jade Knight 07:55, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

I updated everything below the first paragraph to be noted as "Gelfings in Fan Fiction". Because none of it is in the movie or the book. Personally I think all of the Fan Fiction stuff should be deleted. I did enjoy reading it and found it quit creative. But it really belongs on a Fan Fiction website, not here. What is the proper process for deleting nonsense from Wikipedia? It looks like everyone here pretty much agrees that it is nonsense. OK. Screw it. After reading Wikipedia's definition of verifyability and reviewing the good research below I deleted all of the Fan Fiction stuff. See Wikipedia's info here: [2]. If anybody has a good reason on why this Fan Fiction should be included, please bring it up here in the Talk pages and SITE SOURCES from the Movie or Book.--69.133.23.91 21:04, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
