- See Talk:Gallipoli#Proposed merge. The proposal is to move Gallipoli (currently about the peninsula) to Gallipoli peninsula and either
- A) move Gelibolu to Gallipoli per WP:COMMONNAME & WP:ENGLISH
- or
- B) replace Gallipoli with a redirect to Gelibolu and add an appropriate hatnote here in the manner of Bombay.
