Rationale for change in taxonomy information
editHi all,
( I don't often provide input on articles so please correct me if I'm not correctly following Wikipedia conventions )
I stumbled upon this article and believe that according to more recent scientific evidence the Gemmiger genus is part of family Ruminococcaceae (not Hyphomicrobiaceae). This is also supported by the UniProt Taxonomy database which was provided in the original reference of this article. The NCBI Taxonomy database is in agreement.
I've rectified this information in this article, and on the Hyphomicrobiaceae page I removed Gemmiger.
I've also curated a dead link to the original article by Gossling et al., 1975.
Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mooiboys (talk • contribs) 21:08, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
