http://americanfetish.net/ has Robert Bienvenu's PhD dissertation on it -- I haven't had a chance to read it, but it should have a full bibliography. This might be useful for these articles. -- Karada 00:17, 24 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Gay pulp work

Bilbrew illustrated a lot of gay pulp covers for Unique and other publishers - books like Male Madame, Queen of the Road, and The Gay Rebels. His signature's on the covers but I can't find any third party reference to this part of his work (which I suspect was done near the end of his life).
