Fate of GM Europe?

edit

So is there any information on the fate of GM Europe, with the divestiture of Saab, Opel, and Vauxhall having been made? 70.29.212.226 (talk) 00:37, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

GM Europe does not exist anymore!

edit

Since Saab has been sold Opel and Vauxhall are now concentrated in the Adam Opel GmbH, while Chevrolet is called Chevrolet Europe now. But the superstructure of GM Europe does not exists anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.73.181.168 (talk) 20:53, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fiction: GM is bringing back GM Europe

edit

Fact: Going forward, there will be two organizations in Europe: Opel/Vauxhall and Chevrolet Europe.

Nick Reilly is accountable for both. He will run Opel/Vauxhall while Wayne Brannon will continue to be in charge of Chevrolet Europe. Reilly has been named President GM Europe as part of GM’s streamlining efforts. GM will have three presidents going forward: one for North America, one International and one for Europe. GM will not have a return to the former GME organization.
