editI'd like to say avery dnf a huge thank you to the person who started this article and another thank you for those who have been expanding it. Even though it's a stub it has helped ,thanks for all for giving good knowledge and create ancaount would I just completely revamped the entire article. Let me know what you think?--Lance 05:33, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes this will help us.
This page is very helpful, and much clearer than the page on double-entry bookkeeping. I find that it jives with the high quality explanations I found here: [1] informedbanker 03:30, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
If this is a wiki, then why can't I remove the stub rubbish at the bottom and top of the page?
"This article does not cite any references or sources. (March 2007) Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unverifiable material may be challenged and removed."
Doesn't the article cite a source? Somebody wrote it, right? What makes the people writing it any less of a source of knowledge than an external source?
Every second page I go to has a stupid blurb informing me that "This information is subject to stupidity". Problem is, the comment is the most stupid part of the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.228.178 (talk) 04:29, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Difference?
editWhat is the difference between a general ledger and a ledger? Should these by merged? If not the distinction needs to clarified in the articles. - Shiftchange (talk) 12:34, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
I think the article can be clarified by removing part of the first sentence as general ledger is not synonymous with a sub ledger. General ledgers aggregate data from sub ledgers. Ledger is a more generic term incorporating both general ledgers and sub ledgers. I will amend the first sentence and the difference should be clear. e2mq173 (talk) 06:52, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
