I removed the following sentence as it is incomplete and I couldn't figure out the context to complete it.
- It is known that if a nonnegative matrix with a nonnegative inverse is a generalized permutation matrix.

This page should be renamed "Monomial matrix". As far as I know, that is the standard name in mathematics. The name "generalized permutation matrix" is vague; there are all kinds of generalizations of permutation matrices. Any comments? Zaslav 11:11, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
