Merge

What we need is an article that corresponds to what the Main article: Genres, subcategories, and topics related to science fiction link under See Also on the top Science fiction page points to, a link that has been embarrassingly void for some time now. If someone wants to simply copy in the content of the article List_of_science_fiction_topics (which I had already linked to in this new one) so it is the target of the main link, or change the main link to point to that, fine: but keep in mind that that link's anchor text is Genres, subcategories, and topics, not just Topics.

Meanwhile, perhaps someone would like to compare the contents of this and that article to see which is more useful. Since--despite two broad hints on the Science fiction Talk page--no one else seemed inclined to do anything about the dead-end link, I put quite some time in on this, and would like to think it was to some purpose. My own thought is that that article should be merged into this, not vice-versa, but I give up, and let whoever wants do whatever they want.

Because this page was edited by Another Hand before I was finished with it, I don't know if any of what I was still adding got lost--though I hope not--but I'm not going back to the beginning again to find out. Anyway, I am now through with this--save for posting a comment on the main Science fiction Talk page--and, as I said, whoever wants can do whatever they want with it. You're all welcome. The text in science fiction doesn't have to link to an article of the same name. It can be linked to the list. So merge with List of science fiction topics.Yobmod (talk) 13:12, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Merge (again) or delete

This article doesn't add much compared to List of science fiction themes and overlaps with the category tree, so I suggest it be merged or axed. --Thetrick (talk) 05:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I)'ve reidrected it to List of science fiction topics, but half the info should also go to List of science fiction themes
