Unbiased?

edit

This article read like an advertisement. Some more balanced information would be useful, as well as some information on how the company has faired during the recent financial crisis.

I agree with Monkthatgotfunk, this is 100% positive and Genworth is paying their people to stuff this page with every positive tidbit of information. This is a giant page for something so few people would look at and contribute to. For example, this page boldly states that Genworth has 6,300 employees, but fails to note that 1,000 employees just got laid off, which is a new story far better known than any of the many they have listed. I don't know anything about the financial sector, I was just curious because I have my life policy with these people and have been hearing bad news on TV about the company suffering huge losses from its investments on Wall Street and from mounting foreclosures, which drained its mortgage insurance business. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.183.245.27 (talk) 05:21, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lacking sources

edit

This page is referenced almost entirely to self-published sources, which is problematic. --Nat Gertler (talk) 00:44, 28 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

WHY NO TRACE OF THIER MAILING ADDRESS???

We discourage including mailing addresses in Wikipedia articles; it's not meant to be a directory. Their website has a phone number on the contact page - you could probably call that and get their mailing address. --Nat Gertler (talk) 16:03, 4 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
