GeoMod vs. RED
editI think under the headline "List of games using Geo-mod" the two engines have been mixed up. RF I and II both had been released way before Guerrilla and the engine was renamed from RED to GeoMod, not the other way around. Or have I got something totally wrong here? --SeveQ (talk) 14:57, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Huh? I'm pretty sure the engine was called Geo-Mod back when I played RF1 and RF2... I actually never heard of RED... --142.213.254.2 (talk) 14:54, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Alright, after further readings I've concluded that the first 2 games' engine being called RED is false. Besides, the link for RED is dead, so if it indeed was the prototype name for GeoMod 2.0, someone readd it if you want to. But for now I'll fix what I can. --142.213.254.2 (talk) 15:11, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
"Geo-Mod" was what the RF1 and RF2 engines were called. "RED" was the "Red Faction Editor" used to create the levels for Red Faction 1 and 2... Not sure if and how the term "RED" ever applied to RFG -- Jslagel (talk) 12:11, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Cleanup
editThis article is in major need of cleanup and citations. WHile there is a lot of information, it's the most poorly written article I've seen on Wikipedia. 216.160.181.242 (talk) 23:15, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
