Merger of Nadia Khan Show
editI disagree with the proposed merger of Nadia Khan Show into this article. The show is independently notable, having several references. Furthermore, bascially any television show which is broadcast on a national network is inherently notable. We would never even consider doing this for a US or UK television production, so there is no justification for the merger here. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:39, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi, I've proposed it to be merged it to Geo TV as it used to be aired on it. I have also proposed for it to be merged to Nadia Khan, since the encyclopedic article Nadia Khan Show does not meet standards as it has been written by a co-worker of Ms. Nadia Khan and show is no more notable now. So, I think it should either be merged to Geo TV or Nadia Khan. --S.M.Samee (talk) 13:51, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
As regards references, these are not adequate. Since Reference 6 & 7 leading to masala.com are blind links. Reference no. 4 that leads to Awamiweb.com is a blog and that is just a false article since Nadia Khan came back to Dunya News on weekends.Ext. Link Reference no. 3 is also non-reliable blog which I speculate to be made by the Farwah Khan herself. The remaining 1 or 2 references are primary sources. If you still stick on the same, why don't you think to merge it to Nadia Khan--S.M.Samee (talk) 14:01, 16 October 2012 (UTC)?
- As I've explained on my talk page, your concerns here actually aren't in line with policy. Notabilty is not temporary--since the show was clearly notable at one time (being a highly rated show in Pakistan), it is always "notable" for Wikipedia. That never changes, even 100 or 300 years from now. Would it be okay if I removed the merger tags? Qwyrxian (talk) 22:34, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
