- Lead
- "..who specialises in the World War II military history and.." To me, the "the" sounds out of place here, and I think it should be removed.
- Removed. --K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- "..Project Director and Editor-in-Chief..", "..a Research Associate of..", "..a Presidential Counselor for.. No need to capitalise these.
- Fixed. --K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- "He is Senior Applied Research Scholar at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum" This needs to be added into the body of the text; information should not be present exclusively in the lead.
- I removed this altogether. --K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- "He has previously worked as a Research Associate of the U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century and a Presidential Counselor for the National World War II Museum. Ditto for this information.
- Removed. --K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- Early life and education
- "Megargee was born in 1959 and graduated from St. Lawrence University with.." I'm guessing we don't have much information on Megargee's early life, which is fine. Could a location be included for St. Lawrence please?

- Provide links for Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy.

- Academic career
- I would recommend adding the 2001 Distinguished Book Award into the prose when you are talking about Inside Hitler's High Command.

- "..to the " 'if the Führer had only listened to me' " school of historiography"." There's one more speechmark in this than there should be, though I can't work out which one needs to go?
- Fixed. --K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- Again, it would be worth including the 2009 National Jewish Book Award when talking about the encyclopedia in the prose.

- Publications
- These should all be formatted the same: War of Annihilation: Combat and Genocide on the Eastern Front, 1941 should therefore be put into a template for consistency.
- Added template. K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- Megargee, Geoffrey P., ed. (2009) shouldn't have

- Why aren't volumes 2 and 3 included here?
- Added. --K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- References
- Some work needs to be done to fill out the references and improve consistency. Why do refs #6, #7 and #8 use short refs, but the rest use long ones?
- Is consistent references a GA requirement? K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- Indeed, it is not. My mistake, I misremembered. Harrias talk 06:18, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- Is consistent references a GA requirement? K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- Most references need retrieval dates added.
- Be consistent regarding author's name; either "Last, First" or "First Last", not both. Harrias talk 10:41, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- Revised. K.e.coffman (talk) 03:22, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- I've addressed the above points. K.e.coffman (talk) 17:36, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your work on this. Overall a neat little article. I wasn't aware of Megargee or his work, but a Google search doesn't reveal any glaring holes, so I'm happy that despite the length it is sufficiently comprehensive for GA standards. The article is well written and referenced. Harrias talk 19:58, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
