Contested deletion

Keep:This page should not be speedy deleted because it has some different content than the parent article. The parent article Chandigarh is too long. It would be better if some content from the parent article is bought into this to expand. It will be good for both articles and for future of this article. Chandigarh is not too long, WP:TOOLONG states a size of 30-50kb as a point to consider breaking off the article into smaller sections, Chandigarh is only 26kb. London and Atlanta, for example, have a separate geography section, but those articles are both well over 100kb. There is no reason to keep this article until the parent article becomes too large and there is enough on this article to keep it as a standalone article, which is currently not the case. - SudoGhost (talk) 14:02, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Also, what little is on this article that is not in Chandigarh (which from what I can tell could be condensed ito a single sentence, the rest just seems like uncited 'filler') can easily be added into Chandigarh without making it overly large. - SudoGhost (talk) 14:06, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
