Split off low-dimensional
edit- Header added. —Nils von Barth (nbarth) (talk) 01:11, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
I suggest splitting off low-dimensional topology from geometric topology. A sufficiently long article can be written on geometric topology, and otherwise, the low dimensional stuff will overwhelm this page. --C S (Talk) 02:48, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
- Certainly that's right. Geometric topology is no longer nearly synonymous with low-dimensional topology, if it ever was. Zaslav 08:12, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Did it. Now two pages. Please! will someone with some knowledge add (higher-dimensional) content to the page? Thank you! Zaslav 08:47, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks – I’ve added some content, especially on the distinction between low and high dimension (which was my first question in the topic, and took some time to answer).

Needs expansion. Could start with overview of major topics and links with areas of mathematics. Tompw 18:30, 5 October 2006 (UTC) |
