What is this show?

edit

I have been out of the UK for 5 years. I have absolutely no idea what this show is and I came to this article expecting an explanation. Instead the lead just says that it's a reality TV show and then talks about Newcastle and the meaning of the term "Geordie" - how does that explain what happens in the show, what is the object of the show? What IS IT basically??? C.harrison1988 (talk) 04:23, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

?

edit

Page appears to have been written by MTV, especially Christina has the feeling that one episode of this section plays in Mexico. a very flattering portrayal with little hard facts (they didn't even mention the show Jersey Shore, surely an important part of how this came about). Suggest some sort of tag — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.219.46.22 (talk) 03:18, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

This show also shows sex and inappropriate language FYI Simamkele P (talk) 07:39, 9 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Show title

edit

Is it called Geordie Shore because in a Geordie accent it sounds like "Geordie Show"? 137.108.145.21 (talk) 07:49, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

No, Jersey Shore doesn't sound like show in their accent? It's just a spin-off of Jersey Shore.

Recurring cast (Anna, for example...)

edit

As the boss, Anna should really be mentioned on this page. What about a section about recurring people. Maybe not cast, but people who have appeared in a few episodes. Supporting cast? For example, something like this...

Recurring Cast

edit
Series Name Role
1– Anna The boss
2– Joel Corry Sophie's boyfriend
4– Kate James' girlfriend

There could be more added, like Vicky's ex Dan and Holly's ex Dan, Cancun Chris etc.

Scott - Series 3?

edit

Although Scott wasn't a cast member until series 4, he featured in an episode of series 3. (episode 4), is this notable or not and should it be on the page? He had a non-speaking role though, he just made an appearance because he was partying with Gaz when Charlotte was jealous. I couldn't find a reliable source to prove this but there's a video on youtube of it. ThisIsDanny (talk) 23:34, 2 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Episode count

edit

It should probably be 48 instead of 42. Unless there is a good reason for the 42 being there? 85.217.42.90 (talk) 02:38, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

It should actually be 49, 50 as of tomorrow. I've changed it. See List of Geordie Shore episodes ThisIsDanny (talk) 10:45, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I counted it from this article's table. It has 48 episodes, including whole current season. But most of the specials are missing, only Magaluf ones are included. So there are 7 specials missing, and the total is 46+9 = 55 episodes (though 5 of them not yet broadcasted). 85.217.42.90 (talk) 03:51, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Marnie in season 1

edit

Marnie looks to be in 2 scenes in season 1 for a short clip, is this noteworthy?

In episode 4 she is being hugged by Greg in the first scene. Also in Episode 7 the reunion she is shown in the audience laughing during the Gaz and Charlotte interview. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.211.215.32 (talk) 20:35, 22 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Challenge contestants table

edit

Any need for this? Not relevant to Geordie Shore at all, the other appearances is supposed to be brief, we don't need to know how much east cast member earned during the challenge or how many challenges they won. They can go to the series page for that. Otherwise why stop there, let's list all of the trials Vicky did when she was in the jungle. ThisIsDanny (talk) 20:15, 18 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Number of viewers

edit

I see on List of Geordie Shore episodes, Geordie Shore (series 1), Geordie Shore (series 2) and Geordie Shore (series 3) that the "UK viewers" are in millions. Who can fix this? I tried, but I have no idea how. Vinvlugt (talk) 19:48, 2 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Multiple articles

edit

Why are cast members and episodes listed in multiple articles? Very confusing and unnecessary. There is a "main article", an article "List of episodes", "Cast" and for every season an article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nerdi-tine (talkcontribs) 11:59, 23 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
