Argyros and Arnel
editIt doesn't matter if the freely-available abstract doesn't mention Argyros or Arnel - both articles unquestionably mention Argyros and Arnel. Not everyone has access to Lexis or the L.A. Times archives, but if they are really curious, they are free to try microfilm at their local library. Since when has the "freely-available abstract" been dispositive? If you're going to delete cited contributions, you could do so with at least the pretext of a legitimate reason... BlackberryLaw (talk) 05:08, 30 May 2008 (UTC) P.S. Don't delete it.
- So let me get this straight. You provide a citation which has so little do with with either Arnel or Argyros that they aren't even mentioned in the summary, you use this citation to support a paragraph which says in total about Argyros that he was "implicated" in something, although the text (that you wrote) refers to Arnel as the primary, and you think *I* did anything wrong to remove it? See WP:Biography of living persons - any poorly sourced contentious content about living persons should be removed immediately. Now you've provided a cite that actually says "something" about Argyros. I will be rewriting in accord with that cite. Gimmetrow 05:24, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- By removing the information about campaign contributions to District Attorney Rackauckus, you are eliminating a central piece of the puzzle - the grand jury commented on this extensively, and it is utterly relevant to this portion of the article. BlackberryLaw (talk) 01:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
