editI believe that George Cole is notable enough to have an article about him. He taught Billie Joe Armstrong to play guitar and is noted on his wikipedia page by name as well as Mike Dirnt. He performed with Beatnik Beatch (there is a wikipedia page about it) and Big Blue Hearts. He performed on Cris Isaak's Forver Blue Album and Lee Seung Hwan's album. How can I edit the page to create a wikipedia page that is acceptable? Djangoselmer (talk) 22:36, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

George Cole *is* a notable musician. I don't think the article needs to be deleted. The one section that does not seem encyclopedic style is "guitar instructor." That reads more like a fan magazine write-up. Alloy (talk) 19:47, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
He played on two major releases in the 1980s and obviously wrote this article. This is not a notable musician. 2601:644:600:FF00:0:0:0:695F (talk) 06:25, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
Every famous guitarist had a guitar teacher. They don’t all get an article just for teaching someone famous. 2601:644:600:FF00:396E:F0C9:A3CD:7C6F (talk) 03:10, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
