Are newspaper articles credible references ?

edit

Many of the references, where present, are links to articles in the popular press or to commercial websites. Is this practice consistent with the standards of Wikipedia ?

Yes, but newspaper articles are considered much better references than commercial websites. Racklever (talk) 13:26, 23 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not just British English

edit

in "Revision as of 13:52, 11 September 2015 84.27.144.85" 84.27.144.85 wrote in the edit history "Sorry, it's indeed British English to write with comma : so 2,500 is correct." It is not just in British English, but in all dialects of English. For example if one lists the history of this article one can see the last edit made by 84.27.144.85 that the size of the article was "14,319 bytes" the interface is written in American English. -- PBS (talk) 16:51, 11 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
