Well, there isn't much to this, so I don't mind taking it on. Be aware that I am pretty busy at the moment, so I might be slow in getting back to you, but I don't foresee many issues. I have gone through the article and made a number of minor fixes, feel free to further alter any of these if you feel it necessary.
Generally the article is very good, but I feel that the second paragraph of the "Controversy and later career" section gets very bogged down, and is a little hard to follow. I'm not sure how, but it might be worth trying to simplify it a little, and provide a little less detail? That said, I can see that it would be quite difficult to take bits out but retain the relevance and meaning.
Otherwise, it could use a couple more links to articles on the West Indies series and tours (I added a couple, but not others). It might be worth provided a minor statistical summary of his career near the end, as by the time I got there, I'd sort of last track of that sort of thing. Mind you, I appreciate that the numbers are incomparable with anything other than a West Indian cricketer of the time!
One question: where do you find all the The Daily Gleaner articles to quote? Harrias talk 22:57, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- I tried to tidy up the second paragraph of "Controversy". Hopefully it might be a little clearer now. I've added a few links (although to be honest, I'm not a fan of linking every tour and series), and added some stats at the end.
- The Gleaner articles are available here, but it is one of those cough-up-the-money sites. Worth it if you are writing about West Indies, though. Sarastro1 (talk) 19:59, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- It reads much better now, thanks. I have made a minor grammar tweak, but otherwise this article is Good. I understand the reluctance to link tours, but conversely, I find it irritating when an article talks about a tour, and I want to view the article for that, but can't, and have to work out the title to type in myself!
