Jstor link in external links
editJstor uses a different format of stable link now. When including Jstor links now could one request that the name of the journal, volume, issue, year, etc. - information not extractable, I think, from the old-style link, even when logged into JStor - be included? First American Symphonies?
editI found a reference that says George Frederick Bristow wrote the first American symphonies. I took this claim out of the article on John Knowles Paine until the dates can be checked. If someone with historical info on the genre would like to do that? Pkeets (talk) 07:01, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
I don't know about the first symphony by an American composer, but Anthony Heinrich wrote a few symphonies before Bristow. His "Ornithological Combat of Kings" dates from 1837. AppaAliApsa (talk) 22:32, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
