Disingenuous sourcing
editThe source given for the claim that Peppard died of "chemotherapy-induced leukemia" mentions neither chemotherapy nor leukemia, but does say he died of pneumonia. I have changed the article text accordingly. Is there some agenda at work here? Bullofconfusion (talk) 00:26, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
Images
editinsane- the pics removed, they were fair use.
Where's his photo ?
Pop culture
editThere are many more references to the A-Team and Hannibal's cigar-smoking behavior than Seinfeld. I am pretty sure I saw a skit on Saturday Night Live. - IstvanWolf 20:42, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. While many outtakes from Seinfeld have crept into the US lexicon - not that there's anything wrong with that, I pity the fool who doesn't understand the lasting impact of the A-Team. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.64.0.252 (talk) 23:00, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Please add information on his stage career
editThe article focuses entirely on Peppard's screen and TV acting. But he did act on stage. I know for a fact that he played a fantastic Ernest Hemingway in the one-man show Papa. A Chicago performance in the summer of 1988 got a fine review in one of the Chicago papers -- I found it online. I saw the play in San Francisco in October 1988.
I hope this prompts someone better than I at this sort of thing to do some digging. ThomHImself 07:05, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- I seem to recall he acted at the Ashland, Oregon, Shakespeare Festival. I had an acting seminar with him at UCLA--George said the first time he reads a script, he makes notes in the margins. 209.77.229.70 (talk) 12:52, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Rough Night in Jericho links to the wrong thing
editI don't know how to fix this - Rough Night in Jericho doesn't link to the movie, only links to a music album with the same name. The album has nothing to do with the move or George Peppard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.173.229.236 (talk) 13:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:HannibalSmith.jpg
editThe image Image:HannibalSmith.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The A-Team - Ref#9 a 'dead' link
editThe Northern Echo" article turned out to be a dead link so I searched for(and found) the correct link of the article and after reviewing the story, it seemed like a worthless reference. Most of the article is about an A-Team reunion(Not Happening),and hearsay comments that lack decent sources to corroborate Peppard's not being a 'team' player.
Could someone clean up the reference and maybe add something else to back it up? I have enough brain capacity to recognize my own limitations, and who knows, maybe the source actually works according to Wiki's standards...? 69.249.125.97 (talk) 08:57, 8 June 2016 (UTC) BrattySoul
Infobox is broken
editCurrent infobox is broken. I tried to fix it, but no idea how exactly as it's late at the moment. Just had to think about him and that's it's 30 years ago he passed away. Marius88 NL (talk) 01:13, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
