I created this article through finding a redlink in a list. He has been difficult to research within WP or elsewhere, becuase most references are to George Ponsonby. All material has been extracted from other WP articles (which are linked. Some derive from links to that article that evidently do not refer to him. Others came up as redlinks to "George Ponsonby (MP)", which I have changed to references to this article. I hope I have not conflated two people, but it is more likely that I have failed to find all references to him. He seems to be the 4th son of 1st Baron Ponsonby of Imokilly.
