- Comments
- I made a few tweaks, could you please check that you are happy with these changes?
- All good. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- "At West Point he also met Alice (Skip) Calhoun" - I wonder if a clause could be added to clarify this meeting. One presumes that she wasn't a fellow cadet, however, the sentence currently makes it sound like she might have been.
- Added a bit. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- "Brown commenced his basic flight training in Fairchild PT-19s at Pine Bluff, Arkansas". Is there a date for this?
- Yes. added. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- I can't quite identify it, but it seems like something is missing from here: "Moving with the organization to Fort Myers, Florida, he flew both antisubmarine patrol and conventional bomber training";
- Added "aircraft". Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- "He was promoted to captain on 20 October, major on 13 February 1943, and lieutenant colonel on 27 August 1943". This seems like very rapid promotion. Do the sources identify a reason for it?
- There was a war on. Added a bit. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- just a small matter... ;-) AustralianRupert (talk) 22:09, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- There was a war on. Added a bit. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- the duplicate links checker reports a few candidates: "United States Air Force" (in the lead), "Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force", "Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff", and "Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland";
- Removed redundant links. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- "He died at the Malcolm Grow Air Force Hospital at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, on 5 December 1978, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, not far from Creighton Abrams". Was he survived by his wife and children? If the sources say, you might consider adding this is in. AustralianRupert (talk) 12:11, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- Added. Alice died in 1999. Dudley, Daniel and Susanah are still alive. Hawkeye7 (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
