Well, sort of
editThe Roesch-designed straight-eight Sunbeam was a one-off. The Rootes brothers elected to take it on a Continental motoring holiday and got as far as Maidstone before the Humber-based chassis broke. The two straight-eight engines built were subsequently broken up, though according to Anthony Blight there were rumours that a third engine was built, which ultimately found its way into a power boat in Australia Mr Larrington (talk) 15:18, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
