Georgian Byzantine-Rite CatholicsGeorgian Greek CatholicsWP:CONSISTENT article title with e.g. Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church, the Byzantine Rite is traditionally known as "Greek-Catholic". Elizium23 (talk) 18:37, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose, WP:CONSISTENT does not apply since this article is not about a church body nor does is it concern a full proper name. The proposed name is confusing as Greek Catholics (as a generic descriptor) are Catholic people of Greek nationality. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:03, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose, because "Byzantine-Rite" is much more accurate than "Greek". The Georgian Byzantine-Rite Catholics had nothing to do with Greece or the Greek language, and everything to do with Byzantium (New Rome) as an ecclesiastical authority. There is a good reason the Byzantine rite is not called "Greek rite". GPinkerton (talk) 02:54, 19 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
