I appreciate the hard work and research of those who have created and contributed to this article but...
The sentence: "The belated professional stimulation and recognition was not to last, however, regarding the turmoil in her personal life caused her role on the perphirery of the Scottish aristocracy and her respectable life in the colonies technically with but in practice often apart from Andrew McCrae." apart from the misspelling of periphery, is incoherent.
I'd edit it if I knew what the author intended but I've no idea where the middle of the sentence, after "however," is going!
