Original research and relevance

I have two problems with this article.

1. I don't understand the relevance. If it has any, can be very well included in Gepid page

2. I don't see how the mentioned reference supports "Gepid Republic", "Khaganate" etc. Actually I don't believe any serious scholarship (but I can be proven wrong by counter-evidences) talks of such things. Until the evidence will pop up, this is qualified as original research.

My note is that indeed Gepid kingdom as a name seems to rely heavily on the fact Gepids are said to have kings, but unless you have proper scholarsip to clarify this (the structures of power in Gepid world), I don't see there's any place for the information in Wikipedia. As the author of the page created this page as a content fork to support him in an edit war in Transylvania and as he hasn't attempted to defend his position and to legitimate the existence of this page, I'm proposing this page for speedy deletion. Daizus 07:51, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
