I've added the link to the SMS Geier, although there is some dispute as to the ship's classification. In this article its called a "small gunboat", in SMS Geier a "light cruiser", and in Geier a "sloop". I'm fairly certain all articles refer to the same ship. I found a short history of the Geier as well as several pictures of it on this blog, but it unfortunately doesn't have any references.
