I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:40, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria
- Is it reasonably well written?
- A. Prose quality:
- This seems awkward: The shape of the ship followed cruiser designs from late in World War I and fix this: The she had an armored belt and it would probably be worthwhile to specify that it was the waterline armored belt. This should probably be split into two sentences: The ship had a standard crew of nineteen officers and 464 enlisted men, though while serving on cadet training cruises, her crew numbered twenty-nine officers and 445 enlisted, with 162 cadets. And this is awkward: These guns had 900 up to 1,200 rounds of ammunition in total.
- See how they read now.

- B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
- Be sure to add country or state for Gröner, Hildebrand, Rohwer, Showell, and Williamson. Replace the ASIN for Hildebrand with an OCLC or ISBN.
- I've got to stop copying these from old articles...
- Is DE for Delaware or Deutschland?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:56, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- Deutschland - should I link it to be clear? Parsecboy (talk) 17:40, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, just use Germany. I dislike links to places in citations and refs, but that's just me.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:32, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

- A. Prose quality:
- Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
- A. References to sources:
- B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
- C. No original research:
- A. References to sources:
- Is it broad in its coverage?
- A. Major aspects:
- What's a transverse metacentric height? Transverse? What do you mean by two generator systems? Two groups of generators on separate circuits? 53.5 cm torpedoes? I wasn't aware that this was a caliber used by the Germans. Is this a typo for 53.3 cm? I can check Campbell for you if you don't have a copy on hand.
- Linked to wikt:transverse. Groner says "two electricity plants", nothing about circuits or anything else. Yes, that's a typo.
- I was really just questioning the use of transverse in conjunction with metacentric height as I've never seen that usage before. I don't suppose that it's incorrect, since all metacentric height is transverse by definition, but it just read oddly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:56, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- Fair enough - I don't usually use it myself, I was probably looking a little too closely at Groner, who always uses it. Parsecboy (talk) 17:40, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
