The German whisky industry, though young, is showing some fine promise (unlike this article that I just started which definitely needs some work). Hammersbach (talk) 12:48, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not really young: At least since the 60s, Racke Whisky is sold exclusively in Germany http://www.genussmaenner.de/107.1468.0.0.1.0.phtml produced as a blend of two Scottish whiskys, blended in Germany (though the article states, in Scotland).
