Smithsonian Channel officially posted videos are NOT banned by ELNEVER

@WilliamJE: RE: This edit I need to clarify if the YouTube video is on an official account, that makes it okay and not covered by WP:ELNEVER. Check the video carefully: the poster is the Smithsonian Channel, affiliated with the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC. The account is verified by YouTube.

BTW User:Ahunt just thanked me publicly for posting this video. WhisperToMe (talk) 17:19, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia:External_links#Restrictions_on_linking states: "External links to websites that display copyrighted works are acceptable as long as the website is manifestly run, maintained or owned by the copyright owner; the website has licensed the work from the owner[...]" (my emphasis added on this part) - The Smithsonian website, down on the bottom of this page has a section "more social" which links to this channel. The Smithsonian Channel airs Air Disasters and the extended description of the video identifies it as from Air Disasters ("From the Series: Air Disasters: Murder in the Skies"). I agree, that video link should be retained. Sorry I didn't realize that was actually a Mayday episode. Those are essentially fictional dramatizations and have been noted within WikiProject Aircraft as have had issues with accuracy in the past. - Ahunt (talk) 17:22, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

What means the "loyalty for a hired pilot?"

What does demonstrated a lot of loyalty for a hired pilot mean? Aren't all commercial pilots hired? 39.116.182.33 (talk) 13:00, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
