Fair use rationale for Image:Getaway.jpg

edit

Image:Getaway.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

– I don't think the TV program should be the primary topic for Getaway. My first impression would be that the title should redirect to crime scene getaway, although looking at the traffic stats [1][2] it seems this article is actually getting more hits. (Last month was an exception because of a peak for crime scene getaway on the 30th; was it linked on the main page or something?) The stats are often heavily slanted toward the main title, though, as many readers looking for the crime scene getaway article have probably gone through Getaway first. In any case, the TV show article is not "more likely than all the other topics combined" as required by the primary topic guideline. Considering how many pages there are with this title it's probably best to simply move the disambiguation page to the plain title. Jafeluv (talk) 12:56, 3 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

As an addition, there seems to be an upcoming film that is currently getting much more hits than this article (37k vs 3k), although that situation is likely to change once the 2013 film becomes old news. Jafeluv (talk) 12:59, 3 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
