Spelling

There should be some mention of the earlier spelling of the group name as "The Ghetto Boys".

Their first release as "Geto Boys" was the Def American release "Geto Boys" which was a re-worked version of "Grip It! On That Other Level".

Also, the discography should feature a mention of the personnel on each album since the group has long employed a rotating membership. The Scarface + Willie D + Bushwick Bill lineup is considered the "classic" line-up thanks to MTV, but that's not the line-up that early fans grew to love.

Got a citation? Both the Making Trouble and Grip It album covers depicted in the section "Discography" show the fanciful "GETO" spelling. --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 17:56, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Added the original cover for Grip It to the article (it already appeared on the page for that album) Jxan3000 11:17, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Color me confused, but their website says both Scarface and Bushwick Bill died in 1993 [[1]]. Seems the article is quite inaccurate! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.246.175.182 (talk) 02:46, August 30, 2007 (UTC)

The website says that the group died in 1993. The members are very much alive. Scarface released an album in 2006, Bushwick Bill in 2005, and both have albums in the works for the future; Willie D just started a record label. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.116.21.76 (talk) 16:12, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

FIX NEEDED

Can someone who wants to spend any time on this fix the multiple Biography entries?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.59.160.108 (talk) 03:15, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Edit

I moved the bit about the group's original formation into the History section. I think it makes the format of the article a little cleaner. 75.34.102.237 (talk) 05:34, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

The link for Mike Dean currently goes to the bassist of Corrosion of Conformity. I am assuming this is the wrong Mike Dean, so I will change the link. - N (talk) 19:24, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

Habaes Corpus still happening?

Does anyone have any further info on this album since it is supposed to drop this year? All I could find on the album was an article from July, 2015 by HipHopDX; to it, Geto Boys member, Scarface, announced the project was not going to happen because the group hadn't reached its Kickstarter goal of $100,000.--Somenolife (talk) 04:44, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
