Merger proposal
editI am nominating that these articles be merged with the Gettysburg Battlefield article, since they describe minor portions of the battlefield and from what I've read these places were not vital for either army to possess in order to win the battle. Wild Wolf (talk) 22:47, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
- I don't have and object to merging in most of Barlow Knoll, but the parts about being a populated place probably need to be left as a stub and hopefully expanded. Vegaswikian (talk) 00:21, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
- It has been nearly two weeks and no one has objected to this proposal. I will therefore assume that the merge will be ok. Wild Wolf (talk) 19:31, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Merger proposal with Baltimore Hill
editI am nominating that the Baltimore Hill article be merged with the Gettysburg Battlefield article, since it describes a minor portion of the battlefield and from what I've read this place was not vital for either army to possess in order to win the battle. Wild Wolf (talk) 15:58, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Third merger proposal
editI have proposed that these articles be merged here because this seems like a case of inherited notablility. Wild Wolf (talk) 04:22, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Samuel W. Crawford?
editThe wiki page for General Samuel W. Crawford says ‘After the war, Crawford was prominent in preserving the Gettysburg Battlefield’. There is no mention of Crawford in the quite extensive attributions to other personnel in this context. Valetude (talk) 12:24, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
Ziegler's or Zeigler's?
editIsn't "Ziegler" the correct spelling as opposed to "Zeigler"used in the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by OG a.D. 86 (talk • contribs) 09:54, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
