Abbreviations

edit

Looks like these stand for:

  • AS Ashanti
  • BA Brong-Ahafo
  • CR Central
  • ER Eastern
  • AR Greater Accra
  • NR Northern
  • UE Upper East
  • UW Upper West
  • VR Volta
  • WR Western

Note: these are not the standard ISO 3166-2:GH, and we try to avoid these types of abbreviations.

Possible Route Errors

edit

Is there an official source for the data? I can't find it in the external refs. There may be errors in some of the routes. There is conflicting information available, but it is difficult to be sure which documents are correct. For example, refs given below indicate that:

  • N10 may continue to the coast southwards from Kumasi.
  • The road from Tamale to Yendi may be R201, not N9.
  • N9 may be from Tamale to Pusugu, near Bimbilla.

See Annex VI, pp.37,38 on the pdf: [1], linked from [2] and also Road Link Map (Ghana Map of Bridges), available from my website at: [3] Hope this can be resolved as it would be good to know for sure which is correct. EJT (talk) 21:04, 2 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
