The source [1] says "A 30 anni mi stufai e abbandonai quel poco che avevo. Cambiai vita e lavoro", meaning "At 30 I got bored and abandoned what little I had. I changed my life and work". User:EleonoraSoliRiva changed this twice to saying that he was 50 (or 60) when he changed his job and moved to Cuba, as someone would have to be over 50 to have written for the Corriere dei Piccoli. This shows a misunderstanding as the sentence is not saying that Ghisberto is 30 years old right now, it is saying that he was 30 when he left his job, which could have been in any year as the source does not say it. This user has already been on this talk page writing in Italian, which suggests being unfamiliar with English, and has restored her edits with the incomprehensible summaries "Age.Verify the age "he said" is very silly." and "AgeAge of an unknown artist who had an entry posted to sell his work on e-bay?". The talk page post, which I removed for not being in English, was basically calling for this page to be deleted due to not liking the subject, and the edit summaries seem to suggest the same. We are both on WP:3RR and I would like a third opinion. Unknown Temptation (talk) 16:29, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am responding to a third opinion request for this page. I have made no previous edits on Ghisberto and have no known association with the editors involved in this discussion. The third opinion process is informal and I have no special powers or authority apart from being a fresh pair of eyes.
Chefs-kiss I admit this is a WP:PRIMARY source but it is clearly presented as one with "he said". Anyway, to prevent any more rigmarole on this matter I'm just going to remove primary sources. The academic paper cited in the article is fine for minor biographical details with this passage "These considerations can be extended to the satirical vignettes created by Ghisberto, an Italian cartoonist living in Cuba. After a brief stint as a cartoonist in 1993, in 2016, Ghisberto started sharing his openly right-wing populist political cartoons". Unknown Temptation (talk) 14:06, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
