Time to undelete Ghost Town (band)
editIn April 2013 Alexf deleted an article for a new band, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Town_(band) , because it was not yet notable. True, then it wasn't. However, in the past year this band has been much more newsworthy: it was the subject of a long article in the prominent publication Spin ( http://www.spin.com/articles/lets-get-slimed-how-ghost-town-social-mediad-their-way-to-overnight-success/ ), has been covered by the local L.A. entertainment news, and is a headline act in the new international multi-band tour Vans Warped Tour ( http://vanswarpedtour.com/bands/ghost-town ). I would like to resurrect and update this page, if possible. If it can't be resurrected, I can start it anew. Thanks!! Jonah Winters (talk) 16:31, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
Re tags -- added 2 sources
editFor the new Refimprove and Notability tags added August 15, I added (1) another 3rd-party mainstream source, from Substream Magazine, and (2) a link to Allmusic's Awards page which shows that this band reached #1 on one of their charts -- I think that's sufficiently "notable". Band Members' real names?
editWhile the band is getting more and more popular, the individual members aren't notable enough to really have their own personal pages yet, so would it be appropriate to add their real names in the article somewhere?
I would do it myself, but I'm not a great editor, just a big fan of the band.
I like that the page currently lists the artists by their stage names (e.g. Alix Monster, instead of Alix "Monster" Koochaki) and I think it should stay that way, but just to add a little more information on the individual members, it would be nice if it could be added somewhere in the article. I just can't seem to find the right way to do it.
Their real names (overall source here) are: Alix Koochaki, Emmanuel "Manny" Dominick (source 1 source 2), Kevin McCullough, and (of course) Evan Pearce. --eSTeMSHORN (T/C) 02:17, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
