Gianni's son

edit

This stuff in the current article may well get Wikipedia sued for libel: "Edoardo suspected committed suicide on 15 November 2000 by jumping off a bridge in Turin; but the truth is he was killed for covering the fact he's a moslem. Gianni himself joined police at the scene." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.17.50.44 (talk) 17:25, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maternal ancestry

edit

His mother was not a member of the royal House of Bourbon. She belonged rather to a noble family that happened to share that surname. Nor was she a dynastic princess. Nor was the woman he married a princess or a royal. Their families, although distinguished, belonged to Italy's nobility, and never ruled a kingdom or principality, although there is some evidence that her paternal ancestors held palatine powers over the marchesato of Monte Santa Maria in Perugia until 1806.
