DCI Keen

Great Plane Robbery Vs Heist

Anybody else noticed the extraordinary similarity between this episode of Gideon's Way and the David Mamet film Heist?

Both involve a tricky bullion robbery from an aeroplane - both have a team of robbers falling out with each other - a master brain criminal double crossing people and jousting with the police - a planned getaway involving a boat that goes wrong and turns into a gunfight.

I can't remember the name of the film but it was B&W and about 1960 where a team of ex-army men have a similar (military) raid on a plane and when they are safe, then things start going wrong. That was what that episode reminded me of. (193.249.249.248 (talk) 07:40, 3 July 2008 (UTC))
