I'm glad to see this page getting expanded, but it needs to be encyclopedic and neutral, so I've been shortening the material praising it as a tourist destination and just leaving the specifics about what the town has. It needs more facts and figures. When was the town established? Did it subsequently receive a charter or otherwise change its legal basis? How large is it in area now? What is the population? It would also be nice to know what percentage identify as of Icelandic heritage, but that and everything else really needs to be footnoted, and not just to the town website. (Newspapers or books where possible, please.) Are there any heritage buildings? What are the major industries? --Yngvadottir (talk) 13:38, 31 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
