Couple requests
editI have added the pronounciation - also this article needs published citations, I am sure there are plenty - in Greek! Yellowcrocus (talk) 10:57, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
The name is coming up 'Zampetas' but as far as I know it is pronounced 'Zabetas' in Greek - and Google translate pronounces it that way. I would like a Greek speaker to confirm before changing though! Yellowcrocus (talk) 13:57, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
I don't know Greek to be able to do this, but someone should add the spelling of his name in Greek and an interwiki link to the Greek article. Chubbles 17:30, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I did the spelling, but I don't know how to formally make an interwiki link to the Greek article. Polaralex 18:43, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- I did it, thanks! Chubbles 20:56, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Pronunciation
editZambetas is better than Zabetas. Μπ is pronounced as mb in Greek when in the middle of words. I believe this should be changed in the article.--Greece666 (talk) 08:05, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
how he learned to play
editIn the article it is mentioned that he secretly played his first melodies on a bouzouki.
However, elsewhere I find the info that it was his father who taught him how to play. The word secretly creates the wrong impression.
