Gerry Laffy
editPersonally, I think info about Gerry Laffy's recent activities would go better in the Gerry Laffy article. I checked and there is already some there. Gringo300 30 June 2005 01:23 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Girl promo.jpg
editImage:Girl promo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
London?
editIf I understand correctly, Girl were formed in London. If so, that needs to be added to the article. If an external source could be found to back this up, I could add this to the article myself. I want to make sure first, however. Gringo300 (talk) 20:21, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Genre
editGiven That the Band is listed in The New Wave of British Heavy Metal Page on Wikipedia and is referred to by many sources of their time as heavy metal, would it not be better to add Heavy Metal to the genre list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:16B8:1032:AD00:D814:19E4:9B5C:C97C (talk) 19:39, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
Backing vocals
editIf you look at the studio release you see most members contributed backing vocals, however this is not reflected in the members section, could this be fixed. 80s Sam (talk) 08:36, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
