Proposal to delete the "Legality in the United States" section

The "Legality in the United States" section is now tagged both with [citation needed] and with [unreliable source?]. The notes with the latter tag describe the content regarding laws as "recklessly imprecise". Two further points about this section spring to mind. Firstly, the section ought to have a [globalize|section] tag (why just US laws?). Secondly, as the section itself suggests, GFE is only illegal because it it is considered a form of prostitution. The section then discusses prostitution law, which is covered in many of WP's other articles on prostitution. Given the fact that the lead indicates that commercial sex is involved, can we not treat the fact that it is covered by prostitution laws as WP:BLUE (or make some statement to that effect in the lead) and simply delete the "Legality in the United States" section? - Polly Tunnel (talk) 12:35, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
