The third and fourth paragraphs, while lovely, aren't really in keeping with the neutral spirit of Wikipedia, are they?
- Agree - Comments seem to represent POV of editor. While there may be some validity to the statement that parts of Glasnevin cemetery are in disrepair, the editor's comments (on why this is the case, what it means, and the effect this has on the observer) are possibly overstated and subjective. Will likely review/update myself whenever I get a chance. Guliolopez 12:26, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- Glasnevin rocks compared to most irish cemetarys, and there is a FAS Sponsered renewal of Graves ongoing, as well as a database being compiled on the causes of deaths soas to see the spread o pandemics through history.. This article is hopelessl POv folks! --Irishpunktom\talk 21:34, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Tidy
editThe list was huge , i've removed the minor known people thier, they are all notible if they wheren't their artical wouldnt pass WP:NN but some are more notible than others (Gnevin 00:35, 20 October 2006 (UTC))
Biased vandalism
editApart from the fact that Gnevin's vandalism was ruthless in cutting out people he/she doesn't know, it was also ideological in slanting the residual coverage to a republican-nationalist bias; furthermore, Gnevin's text here and elsewhere are so replete with mispelt words and other errors, that it begs the question of literacy and education. The vandalised text should be restored. Tim Griffin 19 December 2006.
Penal laws
editIs it accurate to state that there were "no Catholic cemeteries in Ireland before Glasnevin was opened in 1832"? Is this really the case? Cite? Guliolopez (talk) 21:38, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Commonwealth War Graves
editI have added a paragraph on the British Commonwealth war burials within the cemetery and the two CWGC memorials which list those buried there whose graves are not marked by CWGC headstones. I have explained the presence of graves from World War II: the then Irish Free State was a British Commonwealth Dominion although neutral, but Irish Free State subjects volunteered to serve in the British Armed Forces.Cloptonson (talk) 20:38, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- By World War Two, the Irish state had a new constitution and a new name. Nor did it have 'subjects'. Please spare us the ill-informed potted history. RashersTierney (talk) 23:15, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
