It's really unclear whether the GMSA is a program, agency, or state of knowledge. It's defined as a state of knowledge in the beginning, but in the section "Development of GMSA in the U.S." there appears to be a director for GMSA. Is this not a contradiction?

Moreover, the section "Maritime anomaly detection" first reads "Maritime anomaly detection is an area of scientific study aimed at avoiding maritime collisions. Another area of scientific study is maritime anomaly detection and threat assessment." It then goes to list "related topics" to maritime anomaly detection, but never goes into maritime anomaly detection itself. May I suggest describing the process by which anomalies are detected and avoided at the governmental level?

Lastly, the reference list is a mess. The first reference is properly documented but the rest are links just slopped on there without footnotes. That's why the article looks to be devoid of citations and ultimately unencyclopedic. These problems need to be fixed. Ceraex (talk) 12:56, 4 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
