I believe this organization meets the "notability" criteria. It is relatively young, but involves a large number of institutions of higher learning across several continents, has played a central role in defining global studies, and holds annual meetings in various countries (not a small matter). There are other academic associations on Wikipedia, such as Midwest Universities Consortium for International Activities which is smaller though older. I've added some more info on the activities of the GSC and removed the delete tag. The main argument is as above - this is a relatively large association that is active, and which is playing a major role in defining the emerging field of global studies.--A12n (talk) 03:45, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
