Known as Pilot Guides in USA too?

Someone recently added that the name Pilot Guides is used in the USA and Canada. I know that name is used in Canada, but I've never seen it in the USA, except on some videocassette and DVD packages. Confirmation please? —mjb 22:47, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I would say yes as the website is called "Pilot Guides: Home of Globe Trekker" - http://www.pilotguides.com/tv-shows/planet-food/series-6/planet-food-special-the-story-of-tea/ When the show is listed in TV channel guides and the trailers are shown on the various PBS channels in the US (that I've seen), it's called "Globe Trekker". Either the production company or the parent corporation is called "Pilot Guides". At the end of an episode, it says "Pilot Productions". Yours, Wordreader (talk) 21:59, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia Globe Trekker Episode Guide differs from that on Pilot Guides Website

I notice differences between the episode guide listed on Wikipedia, as compared with that listed on the Pilot Guides website. For example, Wikipedia lists the following titles as the first 5 episodes of season 16:

• Episode 1: "Buenos Aires City Guide"
• Episode 2: "Colonial Australia"
• Episode 3: "Art Trails of the French Riviera"
• Episode 4: "Great Australian Hikes"
• Episode 5: "Myanmar"

However, the Pilot Guides website (http://www.pilotguides.com/tv-shows/globe-trekker/) lists these titles as the first 5 episodes:

• Episode 1: (none listed)
• Episode 2: "Globe Trekker Special: Art Trails of the French Riviera"
• Episode 3: "Colonial Australia"
• Episode 4: "Great Australian Hikes"
• Episode 5: "World War 1 Special"

I'm wondering why there are differences here; and whether or not the Wikipedia episode guide should be updated. Season 1 episode listing

The listing for season one appears to list an incorrect order, which is in contradiction to online hosting sites and IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209673/episodes?season=1) which lists them as follows: 1 Indonesia: The Eastern Islands 2 La Ruta Maya 3 Morocco 4 Jamaica 5 Alaska 6 Pacific Islands 7 South East Australia 8 Vietnam 9 North East Brazil 10 Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands 11 Japan: Tokyo to Taiwan 12 North India: Varanasi to the Himalayas 13 Africa: Zimbabwe, Botswana & Namibia 14 (none listed?) 15 Israel & the Palestinian Territories
