editWould someone be able to check this for NPOV? RHarbor (talk) 13:59, 8 October 2014 (UTC)RHarbor
Non-encyclopedic
edit"passionate dedication"..."extensive critical acclaim", …"artistic elegance, performance authenticity, and compelling spirituality", etc., etc. etc., ...and all of which appears to the opinion of the OP. Their publicist maybe? Blatant self-promotion. A good deal of what is available on other sites appears to be an identical press release for all occasions. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a marketing tool. (See WP:NOTADVERTISING) All the entries under Discography link to a site to order the recordings with FREE SHIPPING. Most of this looks to have been posted by members of COJ, possibly in charge of the Gift Shop. Seriously? Manannan67 (talk) 02:57, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
Updates needed
editI have cleaned up the existing citations in this article, and a brief WP:BEFORE indicates that the article needs attention from an experienced copy-editor and some updates. I did find this about an album that has charted:
- Tambur, Silver (May 21, 2020). "A new Arvo Pärt album climbs to number five in the Billboard classical chart". estonianworld.com. Estonian World. Retrieved April 13, 2022.
