Conversion to Rdr
editAs far as the project heading above goes, only two things are wrong:
- The accompanying main-namespace page is not an article, bcz an article has a single topic described by its title, while the page has a stub worth of information on one topic, and 3 dictdefs for different topics that are not part of the same topic, but merely related to it by the potential of its title being applied to one of those 3 topics.
- While #1 above might lead some to believe said pg is a Dab (and it has been criticized as the inadmissible entity known as an incomplete disambiguation), it could not be a dab even if Glory hole were not already one: we have encyclopedic info on only 1 of the 4 topics.
The bottom line is that the only arguably encyclopedic tasks done by the page are
- Summarizing the section Underground mining (hard rock)#Bulk mining methods in two sentences (not a task worth its own page, when summarizing fewer than ten sentences), and
- Getting readers who want more than a stub-worth of info on miners' glory holes to that section -- for which a Rdr suffices.
Thus i'm
- adding a paraphrase that mentions the term, and its relevance to the (former) link, to the other article's section,
overwriting this page w/ a Rdr, and
mentioning the page (in my ed-summ there) as the source behind my paraphrase.
