Syndication and redirection links
editThis is a great example of why radio station articles should not be redirected to the producer of their content. God's Country was LMAing a bunch of stations and failed. The affiliates were owned by a number of different owners (mostly EMF)...
There is no reason those stations should be directing here other than as an internal link in the station article (Kxxx was at one time carrying programming of God's Country Network, etc....)
Someone really needs to go back and reconstruct the original station articles, and stop doing this on radio atation affiliates that are not Owned and Operated stations (O&O). GCN did not own the stations, and EMF did not own GCN.
That needs to be a policy statement from above. I long ago ceased having interest in editing these articles. There is a pretty distinctive pattern that this practice of deleting individual radio stations and lumping them in one page is confined to religious broadcasters. Nobody would think it proper to take every ESPN affiliate and delete the radio station pages and point them all to a page about ESPN.69.37.85.3 (talk) 20:45, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- That's well good and all, but this isn't a bulletin board to just post opinions on, this is to create better articles and the information you have posted above is just your opinion on things you don't like about Wikipedia. Do you have anything that could create a better article for this subject? - Neutralhomer • Talk • Coor. Online Amb'dor • 20:59, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
